We are looking to recruit passionate Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in the Brighton Area.
Do you want to make a positive difference to people's lives?
For some people, Support Work is something they would love to do but life makes it difficult to commit to a full or part time position. That's where the role of a Relief Support Worker comes in! It gives you the flexibility to choose the shifts you want to work, based on your availability and the needs of the service.
As a Relief Support Workerflexibility is key as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts. Your flexibility is therefore essential for us to be able to meet the needs of the people we support.
The role of a Relief Support Worker can be challenging at times, so it is essential to have a positive mind-set with a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability. You will need to be quick thinking and have a positive can-do attitude.
About our Service
At our Brighton service, we have four properties where you will be supporting both ladies and gentlemen in our supported living service. We also support a number of people throughout our outreach services - in total we support 43 people! Ages ranges from 18 to 75 - offering a real variety in both personalities and experiences of the people we support, which allows us to clearly focus on our person centred approach.
The people we support in Brighton & Hove see many things as being important to them, be it through supporting them in adult life with a large variety of activities and developing both existing and new skills. You will be supporting people with their daily living tasks with things like finances, shopping for all things and healthy menu planning.
