We are looking for a warm, caring, and friendly person to help support the children and team. There are no fixed hours, hours can be agreed in advance on a needs basis. There may be more hours available during holidays to support covering staff holidays. This may be playing with children inside or out in our garden, helping with lunch clean up, taking care of children's wellbeing needs and supporting the team to maintain a safe, clean environment.

We are an outdoor focussed setting, so you'll need your wellies and a positive outlook on our lovely Scottish weather!

Flowerpots Childcare - Turriff can have up to 35 children each day in our classrooms, enclosed outdoor space or often out in the community. Our setting sits within the town of Turriff Aberdeenshire, close to the local school, library, and shops. We support the ethos of learning through play and child lead learning using Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC as supporting documents.

We offer a friendly and welcoming environment, with an established leadership team. Lots of support and training provided by our own quality assurance manager to help you achieve in the role.

Full induction will be given, and formal qualification (Support Worker SVQ level 6) will be available through our partnership with Aberdeenshire Council or work with other training providers.

PVG required and expectation to register with SSSC within 3 months of joining.

Successful applicants will be invited for interview with members of the management team. Thereafter they may be invited to complete a practical activity and spend time with the children and team. This might be done on the same day or in the form of a second interview.
