is currently recruiting for

R

elief

Transition Mentor's

(nightshift)

to provide a comprehensive support service for young people aged 16-25 years who are homeless. The service offers support to 10 young people in their tenancies providing emotional support that involves building positive relationships.


As a

Transition Mentor

you will joining a well established team who play a key part in promoting positive role modelling and ensuring that each young person's voice is heard and their individual needs are met. You will contribute towards promoting healthy lifestyles and ensuring people have access to information and opportunities within the local community.


This is a relief contract role and hours will be dependent on service needs. We require our relief staff to be flexible and be able to commit to at least 2-3 shifts per month.

What you will need to bring to the role



Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives. Enthusiasm and self-motivation. Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals. Excellent problem solver who is driven by positive outcomes. Resilient, reliable and an excellent listener. Good IT & communication skills.
