Career Teachers have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Religious Education Teacher starting immediately.

You will be working within a secondary school based in South Birmingham who are committed to engaging and inspiring pupils to achieve their potential. Our school are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and passionate teacher of RE at key stage 3 and 4, to join their staff team as soon as possible.

To be successful for this role, you must:

• Must hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS)
• Have experience of teaching RE at KS3-4.
• Eligibility to work within the UK.
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
• Have up-to-date safeguarding training dated within the last 12 months; Career Teachers offer a FREE online Safeguarding training course.
• Able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years.
• A positive mindset with a passion for teaching and learning
• Able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupils.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management.
• Committed to raising attainment.
• Committed to promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people.
