We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a school team on a permanent basis starting at the end of September 2025. You will deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, fostering students' understanding of religion, ethics, and cultural perspectives while encouraging critical thinking and discussion.
Duties as a Religious Education Teacher:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the National Curriculum and exam board specifications.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and engagement.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, assemblies, and school events related to RE and cultural understanding.
Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practice within the department.
Ideal Religious Education Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related subject.
Experience teaching RE across Key Stages 3 and 4; experience with KS5 is desirable.
Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills as a Religious Education Teacher.
A commitment to inspiring students and promoting ethical understanding and cultural awareness.
