Job Description

A popular and well-respected 11-18 secondary school in Cheshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Religious Education from January 2026.
The Role
You'll teach RE across KS3-KS5, exploring religion, ethics and philosophy in a way that encourages open-mindedness and critical thought. The subject enjoys strong engagement and high exam outcomes.
The Department
The Humanities faculty is collaborative and forward-thinking, sharing schemes of work and developing resources that reflect modern issues and diverse perspectives. Staff regularly lead assemblies and student discussion groups on moral and cultural topics.

About You

QTS or equivalent qualification in RE, Philosophy or Humanities.
Excellent subject knowledge and interest in ethical debate.
Calm, clear communicator with strong classroom presence.
