About Assured Pharmacy

Assured Pharmacy is a UK-regulated online pharmacy providing clinically led digital care in weight management, hair loss, and men's health. Work is structured and desk-based, supported by clear SOPs and modern telehealth tools.

Purpose of the role

Join our team of in-house and remote prescribers and help drive safe, efficient prescribing at scale. The core of the role is working through our prescribing and clinical checking queues across established pathways. Alongside this, you will support patients with inbound clinical queries and occasionally provide video consultations when extra capacity is needed.

What you will do :

(1) Prescribing and clinical checking (main focus)

Work daily through the prescribing queue and clinical checking backlog. Prescribe and clinically verify treatments across our pathways (weight management, hair loss, and men's health). Apply SOPs consistently, document clearly, and escalate clinical risk appropriately.

2) Inbound clinical queries from existing patients

Triage and resolve clinical questions relating to side effects, dosing, titration, interactions, and treatment expectations. Communicate with patients via video, phone, or email (video or phone preferred where clinically appropriate). Safety-net effectively, identify red flags, and escalate to senior prescribers or the Superintendent Pharmacist when needed.

3) Occasional video consultations (as needed)

Provide additional cover for initial consultations or scheduled reviews when capacity requires it. In practice, this is expected to be the smaller part of the role due to queue workload.

What matters to us

High clinical standards and sound judgement. Warm, professional communication and strong rapport-building. Clear, concise documentation that supports safe prescribing decisions. Professional presence on video and excellent written communication.

Requirements

GPhC-registered Pharmacist. UK Based Independent Prescriber qualification. Minimum 6 months prescribing experience (not suitable for newly qualified prescribers). Confident managing structured pathways and working efficiently through clinical queues. Comfortable with digital health platforms and remote ways of working. Home setup: quiet, private workspace with a plain white or neutral backdrop and stable broadband.

What we provide

Fully remote role with structured pathways, SOP support and a strong clinical team. Equipment supplied (laptop, work phone and headset). Full training and structured induction, with SOP sign-off and ongoing clinical supervision.

Nice to have

Experience in weight management or men's health. Prior telehealth or remote consultation experience.

Why this role?

A strong opportunity to build prescribing experience within a supportive team and structured SOP-led environment.
