We specialise in providing bespoke education to students who cannot access mainstream schools, including those with SEND, medical needs or social, emotional and behavioural challenges.
The Role
We are looking for passionate, creative and adaptable Remote Teachers to deliver engaging online lessons to individual students or small groups. You will help students re-engage with learning and achieve success in subjects such as English, Maths or Science.
Each learner you work with will have a unique story, your role is to inspire them, tailor lessons to their needs and help them realise their potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured online lessons that meet each student's individual needs
Contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
Use creativity to build confidence, literacy and numeracy skills
Record attendance, progress and engagement accurately on TCW systems
Liaise with parents, carers and professionals to ensure collaborative support
Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold TCW's ethos of creativity, compassion and excellence
About You
You are an enthusiastic educator who has experience of working with children and/or young people, who can connect with students from diverse backgrounds and help them thrive academically and emotionally.
Essential:
Degree or equivalent (or relevant professional experience)
GCSEs in English, Maths and Science (grade C/4 or above)
Teaching or tutoring experience with young people
Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths or Science
Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills
Confident working independently and collaboratively
Committed to inclusion, wellbeing and creative education
