Porter/Driver

We are looking for a new member to join our team, starting on a part time basis and eventually going up to full time. We are looking for a highly motivated and punctual employee with a good attitude and is willing to work hard.

We do a vast range of different types of jobs, one day could be a large house move requiring multiple vans and a large team and other days you will be in smaller teams completing multiple smaller jobs.

We are based in Tunbridge Wells however operate nationwide. This means that occasionally we do overnight stays on a long distance move and often do work in London.

Removals can be very physically demanding so a certain level of fitness is necessary for the role.

Paid weekly via invoice

12.50 an hour when working as a porter

15 an hour when working as a driver

On certain jobs you will be given a day rate with notice

Day Rate Driver 120 - 150 depending on distance.

Porter Rate 100 - 120

Duties:

- Disassemble and reassemble furniture

- Assist with loading and unloading of items

- Pack customers houses into boxes and wrapping fragiles for safe travel

- Communicate effectively with team members and customers

Requirements:

- Must Have a Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred

- Previous experience as a removals man/furniture delivery or in a similar role preferred

- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
