CASUAL WORK - As a member of the Little Barn Door team, the Home Staging Installations and Logistics Porter plays a crucial role in helping with packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading tasks. This includes both home staging projects and client removals, all while ensuring excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

Driving (as required):

Operating a 3.5-ton vehicle to move goods between the office, warehouse, and customer locations.

Porter Duties:

Packing/unpacking belongings in the warehouse and client properties. Loading/unloading possessions with care. Handling items safely and respecting client property.

Warehouse Operations:

Preparing the warehouse for home staging projects. Keeping the warehouse clean and safe. Getting inventory ready for home staging installations. Offloading goods and returning them to their designated warehouse spots.

Team Collaboration:

Working with colleagues to efficiently complete removal-related tasks.

Vehicle Responsibility:

Operating a 3.5-ton vehicle as a Driver or Porter. Ensuring the vehicle is in good condition. Following company policies on driver and vehicle safety. Keeping the vehicle's cab clean. Following parking rules, with any fines approved by the Operations team.

Customer Care:

Representing the Little Barn Door brand positively. Being polite, courteous, and professional with clients. Providing an exceptional customer experience.

Brand Representation:

Following company uniform and smoking policies. Maintaining a positive and professional image.

Health and Safety:

Prioritizing safety by following established procedures. Complying with Little Barn Door's Health and Safety policies. Ensuring the well-being of yourself, colleagues, and the public.

Required Skills and Qualities:

Full driving license with no more than 3 points. Experience driving 3.5-ton Luton Vans. Experience in the removals industry is advantageous. Physical strength for the role. Good command of the English language. Team player with a strong sense of responsibility. Attention to detail and customer-focused mindset. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
