Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Renderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be proficient in various techniques and trades. This role involves applying render to surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

Apply render to walls and surfaces using appropriate techniques and tools Prepare surfaces for rendering, including cleaning and repairing as necessary Work with various materials, including plaster, cement, and other rendering compounds Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as roofers, plumbers, and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to guide work processes Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Conduct masonry work as required for structural integrity Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Assist in fabrication tasks as needed, including carpentry and construction painting

Qualifications

Proven experience in rendering or related construction fields Proficiency in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and construction painting is highly desirable Strong understanding of using hand tools and power tools safely Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
