Great opportunity to become part of Spire Renewables a fast-growing MCS accredited Renewable Energy Company based in Taffs Well, Cardiff who design, supply and commission Air, Ground and Water Source Heat Pumps, Hybrid systems, MCLP piping and Underfloor Heating for both domestic and commercial projects and heating installations.
Would suit a recent graduate with a relevant Mathematics, Science or Engineering Degree (desirable) with an interest in digital sales or CAD designer with mechanical or electrical background looking to enter this sector.
As Renewable Energy Technical and Digital Sales Graduate you will learn to manage and deliver heat pump projects along with other renewable technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Mechanical and electrical project specific designs
Heat load demand calculations
System sizing of pumps, pipes and wiring
Technical support to both on site engineers and customer enquiries
MCS compliance
Follow up new business opportunities, respond to and follow up sales enquiries
Produce and submit quotations, following up promptly
Responsible for the ordering, receiving and managing products to meet the needs of sales activity and customer orders
Liaise with clients arranging deliveries as required
Apply digital sales techniques to identify, qualify and engage leads
Engage with prospective clients via digital channels (email, social media, webinairs etc)
Support the use of digital sales strategies to boost performance
Contribute to webshop and website maintenance and optimisation; redesign projects, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks
Work with the other members of the team to ensure contracts are fulfilled
Maintain and develop a computerised customer and product data base
Maintain all technical files and product catalogues
Essential Criteria
Ability to interpret / draw mechanical and electrical design schematics or CAD design
Knowledge of building services and how energy is used within buildings an advantage and an interest in digital sales
A full, clean UK driving license
Effective time management and ability to maintain accurate records
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills, including Advanced Excel and other common applications
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to organise work and set priorities with a minimum of supervision
Self-motivated, highly organised, able to demonstrate problem solving skills and a good team player
Have attention to detail and ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects at different stages
Flexibility and able to take on additional roles as and when required
Positive, can do attitude, problem solver. Willing to learn and use new software platforms
Desired Criteria
To be educated to degree level in a relevant Mathematics, Science or Engineering Degree (desirable) or equivalent professional experience
Experience / knowledge of domestic heating and plumbing an advantage

Starting at 26,000 with quarterly reviews
