Role and Responsibilities
Working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team and operations, the Project Manager will ensure that all installation projects & service/maintenance contracts are suitably planned and executed. During the operations phase, the Project Manager will be the main point of contact with the client. This role will be initially focused on delivering our Solar PV & ASHP projects but could cover our entire product portfolio.
In this role the Project Manager will be responsible for:
Planning & scheduling installation projects:
Ensure accurate and effective project handover from Sales & Design team
Project planning to meet client expectations and maximise installer utilisation
Stakeholder identification & communication
Validating proposed system designs alongside Sales & Design teams
Project cost tracking
Ensure all activities adhere to applicable H&S legislation and risks are mitigated effectively
Complete project documentation to internal/audit specifications
Maintain project details to support accurate project reporting (cost/time)
Define, source & utilise all parts/materials:
Apply practical experience of electrics/plumbing/heating systems to deliver projects effectively
Project material procurement and tracking
Maintain purchase & hire Approved Supplier List across a range of materials & technologies
Maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost effectiveness
Define, source & utilise all personnel required:
Scheduling installation teams & subcontractors (considering holidays, training, travel, accommodation etc)
Maintain subcontractor database
Ensure project details are effectively communicated to installation teams (documentation & verbal)
