Job Description

Our client are seeking a dedicated and experienced Renewable Energy Operations Manager to lead renewable energy projects in the Durham area. The ideal candidate will be willing to work in and out of the office in the North East region and have previous experience in the renewable energy industry, ideally being Solar, Heat Pumps, Wind Turbines and Biomass.

Operations Manager Position Overview

As a Renewable Energy Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and performance optimisation of the renewable energy facilities, including Solar Farms, PV, Wind Turbines, Biomass and Heat Pump installations. The ideal Operations manager will have strategic leadership and technical expertise that will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and sustainable generation of clean energy while upholding safety, compliance, and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will-

• Lead and manage a team of install and maintenance staff, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure smooth and effective daily operations.
• Carry out operational plans, maintenance schedules
• Prepare and manage budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and making cost-efficient decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with numerous engineers, management and customers

Operations Manager Position Requirements

• Proven experience in managing operations and maintenance of renewable energy projects
• Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, operational processes, and performance strategies.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Good knowledge of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and industry standards in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• \xc2\xa340,000 - \xc2\xa350,000 (DOE)
