We are looking for a Project Manager to join our small but highly skilled company. Specialising in the Renewable Technologies of Biomass and Anaerobic Digestion, we work with clients to ensure their Assets deliver the maximum long-term value. You will excel in proactive communication, both on site and written communications with everyone from Clients through to Subcontractors and wider stakeholders. Within the Company every individual has defined specialities, but collaborative Teamwork is encouraged.
The technologies involved are Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with a degree of Civils works. Grouped together these trades deliver cutting edge projects and a practical problem-solving mindset is needed. Whilst the expected norm will be that you are responsible for getting the different Trades to deliver, a willingness to 'get your hands dirty' and show practical leadership will be advantageous.
You will also be working on developments for existing Clients coordinating the more standard service schedules and maintenance coordination.
At any one time you will be managing work on multiple sites carried out by permanent staff and sub-contractors. Your responsibilities will extend to procurement, budgeting, financial and client reporting and all elements of project Health and Safety compliance. You must be able to work independently as well as within the team on projects from start to finish as well as have a positive approach to taking on current projects and help drive them forward. You must be able to prioritise workloads effectively and think outside the box to resolve issues and mitigate both financial and on-site risk. You will be responsible for ensuring deliverables meet internal and external quality standards and stakeholder expectation, managing both as necessary.
You will have a demonstrable M&E Project Management track record and experience in Biomass and or the Anaerobic Digestion industry experience is highly desirable. The role will involve travel and work on site. Our company is flexible when it comes to work life balance, and we want an individual with the character to challenge and inspire change internally and externally moving our company and clients to the next level.
