Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practical experience in system design. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the successful development and implementation of engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Project Manage renewables installations (Solar, Air Source Heat Pumps and EV chargers)

Install, test, and commission solar PV systems

Signing off Electrical and Solar Installations (NICEIC & MCS)

Technical Call Outs

Audit works completed by the engineering team and provide robust feedback to ensure excellent standards are maintained

Lead excellence in installations through coaching and developing other engineers

Survey Jobs

Skills and Experience Required

Experience in Solar PV and Renewables 3 years minimum - essential

Strong ability in fault finding - essential

Qualifications Required

18th Edition

Level 3 Electrical

2391 or equivalent Testing and Inspection

Passion for sustainability and innovation

MCS Accreditation knowledge and experience

Level 3 Solar PV Systems - 600/5175/9 or equivalent

Level 3 Electrical Energy Storage Systems 603/7131/6 or equivalent

NICEIC - QS

MCS - QS

Computer skills

Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

Able to read and understand RAMS

Work Location:

Reporting from our Bury-based office, with work carried out on various sites across the North West region.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year
