The role

Come and join a dynamic team as a Rent & Service Charge Accountant! We\xe2\x80\x99re on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual, who\'s ready to take on the challenge of supporting our team to deliver an excellent rent and service charge delivery to the business and our customers.

In this role you\'ll collaborate with the Service Charge team to meticulously prepare service charge budgets and accounts, ensuring compliance with regulations and service level agreements. You will also complete month end processes within timescale set by the business, play a key role in providing comprehensive reporting and analysis, whilst championing exceptional customer service and maintaining strong communication with our contract managers, wider finance and regional teams.

You will playing a key role for costs in your area through annual budget planning, managing reconciliations, and taking charge of any complex service charge queries that may arise. Providing expertise in this area and strong communication skills will be instrumental in fostering a customer-centric environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The right fit
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll possess demonstrable rent and / or service charge experience and have fantastic knowledge of the principles and regulations.
  • A CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification would be advantageous.
  • You will have strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll have outstanding Excel skills.
  • You\xe2\x80\x99ll be a confident, capable communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
