Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor

Working in our properties across Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire (including Peterborough, March, Corby, Kettering, Northampton and Milton Keynes)

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw Monday to Friday, with on call on a rota basis)

Salary circa 40,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus van, on call allowance and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Repairs and Maintenance Supervisor

Leading our trades team to deliver a right first time, whole job repair approach which is compliant and of high-quality.

Ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards, working within budget, KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and service standards.

Ensuring our void properties are turned around quickly.

Successfully managing internal teams and sub-contractors in delivering on our customer promise.

You have

An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or if not, strong equivalent operational experience.

SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification and experience managing the health and safety of a direct workforce and contractors.

Great knowledge of housing repairs and improvements, including building regulations and working to specifications.

Experience of managing maintenance or construction teams, successfully delivering work programmes within time and budget, driving performance, productivity and quality.

A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details

Working Monday to Friday, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional on call payment.

We are still working out where our new base will be. When we go live our team will cover from Peterborough down to the Milton Keynes area and do jobs for our customers in towns like Corby, Kettering, Northampton.

We expect you to work flexibly where we need your support in the patch but the good news is that your travel time will be part of your working day.

You must be able to use technology for managing progress of works and budgets, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
