About the Role
Nuco Solutions are looking for an experienced and motivated Repairs Supervisor to join our team in North London. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong trade background who takes pride in delivering high-quality, resident-focused repairs and maintenance services. You'll lead and support a team of skilled operatives carrying out responsive and void repairs across our social housing stock. You'll ensure that works are completed safely, efficiently, and to an excellent standard, while maintaining compliance and driving performance.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of multi-trade operatives delivering responsive and void repairs.
Carry out on-site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Plan and prioritise workloads, managing performance to meet KPIs and SLAs.
Use Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes to accurately scope, price, and record repair works.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to operatives as required.
Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal teams to maintain excellent communication.
Ensure all health & safety and compliance procedures are followed.
Contribute to service improvement and promote a positive, solution-focused culture.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds qualification or time-served in a relevant trade (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering).
Proven experience supervising repairs teams within the social housing sector.
Strong working knowledge of SOR (Schedule of Rates) codes and repairs processes.
Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
Confident, proactive, and able to take a hands-on approach when needed.
Full UK driving licence required.
