Job Description

This role is pivotal in establishing and embedding production control standards, processes and reporting tools for the new Production Controlling function. Controller oversees the daily responsibilities of the data analysts, working alongside production to streamline data improve data consistency. The successfully candidate must be confident in dealing with a variety of stakeholders at different levels of the business. This is a hands-on role for a proactive individual who thrives on building new systems, driving process improvement, and supporting operational excellence.

Key Areas:

Develop, implement, and maintain standardised production reporting tools and dashboards for all departments Strong M3 skills - navigation / manipulation of and understanding Alongside the Operational Controlling Manager - Build standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production control and reporting Develop and maintain standardised production reporting tools and dashboards for all departments. Collaborative Provide training and guidance to operational teams on data entry and reporting accuracy Support the integration of systems and digital tools to improve production visibility (e.g. M3/Code IT, ANT OEE, MRP tools. Maintaining manual reporting tools Identify and highlight key trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Clear insightful data will enable interrogation In time, oversees the Product structure creation for each department - data analysts update the system with direction from the controlling manager. Right first time

Key Indicators:

Accuracy and timeliness of daily/weekly/monthly reporting Data completeness and reliability SOP library established and maintained Training completion rates and user competency Successful implementation and user adoption of new tools

Skills:

Advanced Excel / MS Office proficiency (pivot tables, dashboards, macros, excel formulae proficiency, knowledge of script and ability to develop Experience developing data reporting systems or dashboards (Power BI dashoboards, global data analysis tools in development or similar desirable) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of the organisation Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Organised, proactive, and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to standardise and document new processes

Experience:

Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment Previous experience in a production planning, performance reporting, or data analysis role Exposure to ERP/MES systems and data management tools Proven track record in implementing or improving reporting and control processes

Qualifications:

Advanced Excel or data analytics certification advantageous. Any relevant qualification would be advantageous.
