Job Purpose: TMHCC is running a large multiyear, multimillion pound programme (NPAS) set to completely transform its policy administration capabilities across a number of lines of its growing and diverse book of business. We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Data Reporting Scrum Master/Delivery Leader to expand our dynamic team. Reporting to a Data transformation Leader, the individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of TMHCC\xe2\x80\x99s data reporting and reconciliation work through collaboration, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The primary focus will be to lead the Data Reporting team through Scrum Management and Leadership identifying building and deploying business critical reports in PowerBI. The Data Reporting Scrum Manager will need to understand the business reporting scope and work collaboratively with the Data Warehouse team to enable the reporting needs of the business. They will work with an internal team to deliver the activity. Additionally, the role will need to manage the Financial Data reconciliation project managing a 3rd party supplier in ensuring delivery meets business needs and outcomes. The role would suit a seasoned BI Reporting Data Scrum Master with experience supporting large scale projects and programmes within the insurance industry. You will be working with a group of Data Specialists, along with IT counterparts, and while technically focused, will also be able to face into the business to validate their data reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Scrum Master and Delivery Management to manage and support the Discovery, Design and implementation for business line specific, enterprise and compliance reporting.
• Management of the Delivery of Financial Reconciliation Solution by a 3rd party provider.
• Rapidly gain an appreciation of the current state and progress of deliverables across the Data Delivery release plans.
• Work closely with all aspects of the business and data teams to understand the business and its drivers and data requirements, capabilities and processes.
• Establish effective communication and collaboration across all impacted areas and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops as required to understand and document business drivers and requirements for, and opportunities embedded within, the migration of the relevant business teams onto the new data platform.
• Work with a Solution Architect ensuring an appropriate solution design (and optimum configuration) is achieved against the defined requirements.
• Work with the Data Modellers to ensure data modelling and data integration requirements support the business requirements and dependent project/workstream integration requirements.
• Work with the Test Lead to ensure requirements, Test Scenarios and Test Cases are aligned to approved requirements and processes, and to assist the lead with test defect resolution and execution support as needed to maintain the testing plan timeline.
• Work closely with the business and project teams to support the end-to-end successful delivery of requirements/user stories and through this ensure clear requirements traceability is in place.
• Work with the Lead Engineer to identify the impacts of the recommended solution, including the identification and specification of new and/or changed integration points and any resulting development work.
• Work with IT teams to ensure IT drivers (NFRs including security, stability and supportability) and technical requirements are appropriately documented and factored into key decisions and project plans.
• Create clear and concise deliverables to ensure project objectives are well understood and successfully completed.

Performance Objectives:

• Deliver identified data reporting tasks and required documentation to support releases within the Transformation programme.
• supported the development of data reporting products that enable the transition of a line of business to a new policy administration system with associated enhancements to the existing data platform.
• Successfully deliver financial reconciliation solution.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with other project teams, various suppliers and the business as appropriate.

Skills and Experience Specification: Essential: The successful candidate will be outcomes driven with an insurance background and have demonstrable experience in similar previous roles and be able to operate at a programme/enterprise level of data reporting with PowerBi. A strong understanding of data processes and other insurance processing systems is essential for this role including financial reconcilliation. Experience Data Scrum Master with demonstrable experience of detailed activity to deliver enterprise, departmental and compliance reporting in PowerBi
In addition, we are seeking:

• Demonstrable experience with business systems and data analysis of complex systems and process.
• Experience in full lifecycle data projects, understanding new system implementations.
• Understanding of the key concepts of data warehousing, reporting and analytics and the requirements needed.
• Requirements gathering, business process and data mapping.
• Demonstrable SQL data analysis skills.
• Demonstrable experience of working in hybrid waterfall and Agile delivery environments with a strong capabilty for creating, managing and maintaining Azure DevOps Epics, User Stories and Test Cases to industry standards of content working with other team members
• Demonstrable ability to work with both ambiguity and change producing deliverables to required timeframes.
• An excellent communicator with the ability to quickly establish rapport with business and technical SME personnel at all levels.
• Ability to explore and challenge sensitively, mindful of organizational history and culture.
• Experience with Snowflake database and PowerBI.
• Experience of Managing 3rd party suppliers.

Desirable:

• Experience working with central finance teams and their complex requirements \xe2\x80\x93 Solvency 2, IFRS17.
• Previous work in the insurance sector, particularly our lines of business and/or London Market and/or reinsurance process.
• Any data modelling experience would be beneficial.

• Experienced working with data governance and enterprise data architecture to assure the data definitions and data model
• Demonstrates self-discipline, self-starter aptitude, and operates at a detailed technical level
• Clear communication skills in cooperation with business analysts, business stakeholders at different levels of seniority, project architects and project management
• Must have the credibility to provide challenge, quality assurance and support other workstream leads
• Strong advocate of collaborative working
