Our team is involved in every element of People and Finance activity. That includes payroll, casework, referencing and onboarding, through to billing, paying suppliers, and month end activities. It's up to us to lead, support and deliver an excellent service across our core processes including;


Managing Revenue Procurement Project and Asset Management Finance Processes People Processes Our Business Services teams focus on three areas: Systems and Transformation, Service Delivery, and Business Intelligence.

The Finance Service Delivery Team Managers are responsible for leading a team that has end to end accountability for our core finance processes. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, people management and operational oversight.


The Record to Report Team Manager is responsible for managing the preparation, analysis and completion of our Management Performance Reporting and Board Reporting packs for our Finance Directors, CFO and shareholders. The team manager will also be responsible for our Finance Support tasks, including but not limited to subledger reviews, balance sheets, budget and rolling forecast co-ordination.


The role will work collaboratively with leaders and colleagues to deliver effective and efficient services and to lead and coach their teams to deliver operational excellence. Additionally, they will play a key role in influencing, shaping and driving service delivery operational and strategic improvements.


Building and maintaining excellent relationships across all stakeholders to drive operational excellence and ongoing continuous improvement is key. In this role you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including our Finance Service Delivery teams, Finance Business Partnering, Business Planning, Traffic Insights etc.



Recording, summarising and reporting transactions from our core processes. Managing the delivery of our Management Performance and Investor Reporting. Service Delivery presentations to senior stakeholders/ customers. Business scorecard performance management to drive high performance and good customer service. Working closely with internal/external audit to close off requests in a timely fashion. Leading a team of four, motivating and developing the team whilst ensuring key deliverables are met efficiently and effectively.

Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant with experience of Management and Financial Reporting. Skilled at transforming financial data into clear, actionable insights. Proven managerial experience of leading, coaching and motivating teams. Strong communications skills with a demonstrable track record of excellent stakeholder engagement to non-finance audiences, and ability to influence recommendations and decisions. Evidence of having worked with internal and external auditors.

Working location

Your contractual place of work will be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work.


We also have some hybrid roles with a working approach which offers the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process.
