You'll provide robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank and having exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation.If youve performed a similar role previously, this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your career.The difference youll make:Participating in assurance activities related to Finance & Markets such as Capital, Liquidity, Markets, Structural Risk and FinanceEnsuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with the methodology quality requirementsTaking part in different aspects of the audit from planning, identification of key risks and testing during fieldwork stageManaging relationships with key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as requiredSupporting the delivery of the business plan for the specialist Audit areaDeveloping effective working relationships with others in the Audit teamWhat youll bring:These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:Previous experience a relevant role within Internal Controls, Internal or External Audit, Capital, Liquidity, Structural Risk or AccountingIn-depth knowledge of audit principles and their application in core processesUnderstanding of the financial services industry, products and services, and regulatory framework in which the bank operatesExposure to the use of advanced Excel and skills at organising and maintaining large sets of dataIt would also be nice for you to have:Degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, Economics, MathematicsProfessional certification - ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA or equivalentExperience with Data Analytics (Python, SQL) and audit softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat else you need to know:This permanent role is based in Milton Keynes.We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop.
