We are looking for an experienced

Requirements Manager

with a strong

systems engineering background

to support safety-critical programmes in

Bristol

. The role focuses on managing, structuring, and controlling requirements across complex engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage and maintain requirements across the full systems lifecycle

Ensure requirements are:

Clear, traceable, and verifiable Aligned with system design and stakeholder needs Lead requirements reviews and support technical decision-making Work closely with systems, design, and delivery teams Support compliance with engineering standards and project governance


Qualifications

Required Skills:



Strong

systems engineering background

Proven experience in

requirements management

Experience working in

safety-critical or regulated environments

(defence, aerospace, nuclear, rail, etc.) Eligible for

UK Security Clearance


Required Qualifications:



A

Bachelor's

or

Master's degree

in

Engineering

, or

equivalent

military experience

.

Desirable Skills:



Requirements enrichment experience

(breaking down high-level requirements into detailed, usable system requirements) Experience using requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Jama)
