What we're looking for:
Previous HGV driving experience is essential - You must have a valid HGV licence and be comfortable handling large vehicles. Experience in vehicle recovery is not a prerequisite as we will provide full training for the recovery aspect of the role.
Customer-focused mindset - You'll be representing our company on the road, so we need someone with top-notch customer service skills and a calm, professional approach, even in the most stressful of situations.
Problem-solving skills - Recovery drivers need to think on their feet. Often, you'll be tasked with solving challenging vehicle recovery scenarios, sometimes in unusual or remote locations.
Resilience & reliability - This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, and you'll be required to recover vehicles at roadside, including on busy motorways. But if you enjoy being on the move, it's the perfect fit.
What we ask:
Parking for your recovery truck - As this is a home-based position, you will need somewhere secure to park your recovery truck between shifts.
A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure vehicles and customers are safely handled.
A valid tachocard and DCPC card.
