As a
Research Administrator
, you'll take on a varied and rewarding role that blends

. You'll help with data collection, support clinical research, liaise with participants, and contribute to exciting health initiatives across our practices.
Key Responsibilities
Support the setup and delivery of research studies, including data collection and participant engagement.
Assist with pre-screening and recruitment for studies using population health tools.
Provide administrative support--booking appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining accurate records.
Help develop content to promote studies via social media, websites, and patient groups.
Ensure compliance with data protection and research governance standards.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
2 A-Levels or a Level 2/3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
GCSE English & Maths (grades 7-9)
Experience:
No experience required--
full training will be provided!

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Administrator to join our collaborative team, focusing on both active participation in research studies and providing essential administrative support. This dual-role position is designed for an individual who can seamlessly balance hands-on involvement in research activities with the efficient management of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, along with a proactive approach to ensuring the smooth operation of research projects within our primary care research team.
Primary responsibilities
1. Research Involvement
Conduct population health searches and identify suitable cohorts of potential recruits for current studies. Assist with pre-screening activities.
Actively contribute to research studies by providing engagement and support to participants, assisting in data collection, and study tasks under the guidance of the research team or as delegated by the Principal Investigator.
Monitor study equipment, arrange calibration, maintenance and repairs.
Opportunity to develop clinical skills such as phlebotomy.
2. Administrative Support
Provide comprehensive administrative support for research projects, including scheduling meetings and clinics, booking participants, managing calendars, and coordinating study timelines with the team.
Maintain accurate and organised documentation of research activities, records and communications, archiving.
Manage associated logistics for clinics and studies, including consumables.
Documenting SOPs and Notes to Files as required.
Performing tasks using Docmail and AccuRx and other tools as required.
3.Communication and Collaboration
Produce and update content for website, social media and Patient Representative Groups to share news of research studies.
Participate in meetings to support all team activities.
4. Compliance
Data input and quality checks.
Collating team training certificates and CVs, supplying to study teams.
Person Specification
Qualifications
2 x A-levels
GCSE English & Maths, grades 7,8 or 9.
Or
Diploma in Health & Social Care (Level 2 or Level 3)
Experience
Not required. Full training will be provided.
Skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
