We are seeking an enthusiastic R&D Engineer to join our dynamic UK R&D team, with additional supporting responsibilities for our global engineering network. At Dellner, our gangways integrate a diverse array of components manufactured through advanced processes - ranging from rotocuring rubber-aramid composites to extruding and bending aluminium profiles. The role is as varied as it is rewarding, offering excellent visibility across the complete development process.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed and system-level design work based on project specifications and internal guidelines. Prepare and verify design-related documentation in line with drawing approval instructions. Conduct technical investigations and support other departments and global subsidiaries. Compile and report development outcomes as required. Collaborate with colleagues, sharing ideas and innovative solutions. Contribute to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection and drive design standardisation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Degree or HNC in Design, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Ability to interpret technical specs and create detailed system designs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills. Self-motivated, well-organised, and open to new ideas and approaches. Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally. This is an entry level position.
