About the role


------------------


We are looking for a Research Assistant to work on an exciting project that is looking to better diagnose neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. This post is funded by the UK DRI and aims to develop and validate a new blood test which could detect the earliest signs of these conditions.


What you would be doing


---------------------------


You would be working with Professor Paresh Malhotra, Professor David Sharp, and the Imperial Memory Unit to is perform cognitive testing and blood tests at the Imperial Memory Unit at Charing Cross Hospital, alongside MRI and PET scanning at Hammersmith Hospital.




What we are looking for


---------------------------


You should hold an MSc/BSc in Neuroscience, Psychology or related disclipline, or equivalent research, industrial or commercial experience. You should have experience of conducting neuropsychological testing and working in a research environment. You should be flexible and proactive in a busy environment, and able to organise your own work.
