About the role

We're looking for a Research Assistant to join our team and help shape the future of health informatics. You'll play a key role in conducting qualitative research, engaging with participants, and analysing data to produce actionable findings. You'll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high-quality research that makes a difference.
This is a part-time post (18.5 hours per week), funded until 31 August 2028, with the possibility of extension. The salary will be Grade 6b, 38,607 - 41,255 inclusive of London Allowance pro rata per annum.

About you

You'll have:
A degree (MSc, BSc) in a health-related discipline, or an unrelated degree but with relevant professional experience.
Experience of analysing qualitative data using appropriate methods and techniques (e.g. thematic analysis, discourse analysis, narrative analysis) including interviews, workshops and focus groups.
Experience of evidence synthesis including systematic reviews.
Data analysis skills and the proven ability to learn appropriate data analytic software for qualitative (NVivo) research.
Strong communication skills and confidence in managing participant interactions
A proactive and innovative approach to research
