REPROLINK is a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded research project led by Dr Neha Pathak and hosted by the EGA Institute for Women's Health, whose mission brings together clinicians and researchers from a diverse range of disciplines to make a real and sustainable difference to women's and babies' health. REPROLINK aims to use health data science to measure reproductive health inequalities with two major multipartner collaborations:


The fourth National Survey for Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles (Natsal-4) https://www.natsal.ac.uk/projects/natsal-4/ - a 7 million Wellcome Trust funded large scale biobehavioural survey of sexual and reproductive health across Britain.

The new NIHR Policy Research Unit in Reproductive Health (PRU) https://www.ucl.ac.uk/health/health-policy-ucl/policy-research-unit-reproductive-health#:~:text=The%20Policy%20Research%20Unit%20in,health%20and%20healthcare%20in%20England - a 3 million research investment to produce high quality evidence informing reproductive health policy in England.



About the role


------------------


The postholder will assist Dr Neha Pathak, the Natsal-4 data linkage group and the PRU data project group to develop and deliver analyses of Natsal-4 linked to census and education data, deliberation/co-production with underserved/racially minoritised groups and set up new data linkages.



They will be supported to pursue a funded mixed methods PhD exploring inequalities across reproductive health using data linkage Salary range is for Research Assistants;



This is an open-ended contract with an end date of 30th April 2029, to commence by 1st October 2025.



This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa certificate of sponsorship under UK Visas and Immigration legislation. Therefore, UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require the right to work in the UK.

About you


-------------


You must have an MSc (or equivalent) in a related topic and experience of qualitative and quantitative research in reproductive or women's health, ideally including data linkage and/or analysis of big data. You should be able to work productively and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, have strong written and oral communication skills and a willingness to develop your research ability.
