The new Oxford-Hyundai Motor Group Foresight Centre is a major research centre located within the University of Oxford's Said Business School. Funded through a generous research sponsorship from Hyundai Motor Group, the Centre is led by Oxford strategy faculty Rafael Ramirez (Director) and Trudi Lang. (Co-Director). Focusing on a discrete set of high-impact themes, the Centre contributes significant new research to the scholarly understanding of how foresight is conducted to inform business strategy, while also producing impactful outputs for practitioners.
Reporting to, and under the direction of, the Centre Directors, and working with other relevant members of the Centre such as post-doctoral scholars, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of various foresight research projects the Centre will be undertaking.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain academic research experience and to learn from leading academics.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a background in qualitative social science research, such as literature reviews, surveys, interviews, thematic analyses, researching and writing up case studies, data presentation, etc. Candidates also proficient in quantitative methods will be highly valued, but such skills are not essential.
