We are seeking a talented and motivated Research Assistant to join a cutting-edge project focused on AI-driven data management and automation in private debt asset management. This role sits within the Human-AI Interaction Lab at Oxford Said and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to pioneering research at the intersection of finance, data science, and artificial intelligence.

Working under the guidance of Dr. Kejia Hu, the post holder will support the development of an AI-enabled credit data platform, helping to advance state-of-the-art automation frameworks, database architectures, and decision-support tools. The role also involves contributing to the design and implementation of AI algorithms, assisting in the development of research publications, and shaping future research directions. There will be opportunities to manage your own research activities and collaborate closely with industry partners.

This position is particularly well suited for early-career researchers or aspiring PhD candidates seeking to strengthen their academic and industry-facing experience. The post provides a valuable platform to deepen skills in AI and data science, expand knowledge of the financial services sector, and build a strong portfolio of applied research and publications within a high-profile, interdisciplinary environment.

This post is hybrid at our Park End Street Building in the wonderful city of Oxford, with a minimum of two days a week onsite.
