Full time, fixed term contract for 17 months (until 30th April 2027)







Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a highly-motivated Research Associate to join the ESRC-funded 10m Centre for Early Mathematics Learning (CEML). CEML aims to transform research in early mathematics education by revealing new understanding of children's early mathematical learning, designing and evaluating educational resources based on the science of mathematical learning, and working with teachers, early years practitioners and families to translate these findings to practice.





A Postdoctoral Research Associate role is available to study the process of translating research on early mathematical learning to practice in classrooms and other settings. In collaboration with investigators, the postholder will design and carry out studies using online surveys, focus groups, interviews.

Applicants should have a PhD in psychology, education or a related discipline, and a desire to work in an interdisciplinary centre focused on early mathematics learning.
