We are looking for
talented and motivated individuals
to join the
Composite Moulding
team, part of the Manufacturing Group. Depending on your experience and qualifications, you could join us as a
Research Engineer
or
Advanced Research Engineer
. In this role, you will lead the development of novel technologies and processes, and create demonstrators to showcase NCC's manufacturing capabilities -- continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible with composites.
What are we looking for?
A strong theoretical foundation and substantial hands-on experience in composite manufacturing processes, such as manual pre-impregnated (prepreg) layup, dry fibre infusion, and Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM).
Proven experience in an industrial manufacturing or engineering R&D environment; experience within the aerospace sector is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, customers, and engineering stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Demonstrated ability to perform thorough requirements capture across diverse technical areas, enabling the effective scoping and structuring of projects within defined capabilities, budgets, and timelines.
Proficiency in producing high-quality technical documentation, reports, and specifications to a professional standard.
Experience in leading technically complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
