Job Purpose/Summary:
Improve gas cell design and sealing to manufacture alcohol vapour filled IR absorption calls with stable fill pressures. Validate performance of these improved design gas cells within a Gas Filter Correlation sensor.
Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
Following the Analox research process, manage research project from definition through to completion of the work.
Identify key design elements and processes that must be maintained when transferred through to successful manufacturing of product designs.
Identify suppliers and partners in supply chain and manufacturing as required.
Demonstrate the research outcomes:
+ To the design team so that the product can be productionised.
+ To internal and external customers in the form of presentations and papers.
Keep records of all research activities so that they can be readily picked up again in the future.
Support design team in productionising research outcomes.
Implement improvement in the research process through measurable performance indicators
