The Research Institute is a vibrant, cross-disciplinary hub that brings together
Archaeology, Engineering/Computer Science, Management and Sustainable
Development
to tackle some of the most important challenges through the
creation of new technologies
for the benefit of society in an
ethical and inclusive manner.
Our teams have world leading research capabilities and work closely with partners across academia, industry, and the public sector.
What you will be doing:
Providing high-quality administrative support to Research Institute Directors.
Managing diaries, meetings, and events, including travel arrangements.
Servicing committees and working groups (agenda preparation, minute-taking, follow-up actions).
Supporting research funding applications and maintain research activity data.
Coordinating onboarding for new research projects and assist with collaborative networks.
Handling sensitive correspondence with discretion and confdentiality.
Qualifications/ experience:
5 GCSEs at A-C including English and Maths (or equivalent experience). Strong experience using Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience servicing committee meetings and managing complex administrative tasks.
Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
