PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 
 BBC Sport Scotland has been commissioned to produce a third series of the popular 'Icons of Football' format. The series will be six episodes for the BBC Scotland channel covering the careers of six different Scottish football legends who have made their mark on the game using key interviews, rich archive, newspapers and stills. 
 In the researcher role you will be required to identify, research and develop ideas and content for the series, often to tight deadlines. You will also contribute to the delivery of content and provide support across all areas of the production as required. 
 WHY JOIN THE TEAM 
 We are looking for a researcher to join our programme team producing six thirty minute episodes of Icons. You will be involved at all levels of production assisting with sourcing contributors, archive, fact checking scripts and the filming of interviews. You will work closely with the producers and with the wider Sport department.
