Reservations Specialist

As a Reservations Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, homeowners and customers, representing the Barefoot Retreats brand with professionalism, warmth and attention to detail. You will play a key role in managing enquiries, processing bookings and delivering seamless experience that reflects our commitment too luxury and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all guest and homeowner enquiries via phone and email with efficiency and professionalism

Process bookings and payments accurately and promptly

Prepare and send all necessary correspondence

Maintaining up to date knowledge of our property portfolio including new listings and changes

Liaise directly with homeowners to ensure property details and expectations are aligned

Monitor weekly sales performance and contribute ideas to help drive revenue growth

Provide emergency phone coverage as part of a scheduled rota

Keep up to date with the holiday market trends, particularly in the staycation & luxury holiday sector

Report to Department Manager regarding any issues or opportunities requiring further action

Support other departments as needed, assisting with tasks such as deliveries or property checks/preparation of properties for arrivals

Represent the Barefoot Retreats brand with care, empathy and professionalism, ensuring positive relationships with both guest and homeowners

Deliver consistently high standards of customer service and communication at all times

Skills & Experience

Proficient in Microsoft office applications

Excellent written communication skills, particularly email correspondence

Confident communicator with guest, customer and homeowners

Knowledge of super control is advantageous but not essential (training will be provided)

Experience in hospitality, tourism or the luxury sector preferred

Highly organised, self motivated and able to work effectively within a team

Enjoys challenges and thrives in a dynamic environment

Full UK Driving Licence required
