We are looking for a Reservations Assistant to join our growing team.
About The Role
Position:
Reservations Executive
Department: Front Office
Responsible to: Sales & Events Manager & General Manager
Receiving incoming reservation enquiries from various customer types including individual leisure guests, corporate guests, tour companies, sporting groups, conference groups and any other enquiries.
Responding to email enquiries and bookings in a professional and business-like manner.
Collecting online reservations from our online booking agent.
Completing the reservation on the PMS system, ensuring details are accurate.
Managing the reservations, ensuring bookings are confirmed, group bookings are made and chased and contributing to the daily duties in the reservations office.
Allocating bedrooms, ensuring rates are correct.
Updating OTA's and monitoring rate parity.
To work closely with the rest of the Reservations Team ensuring a high standard of efficiency and quality of work.
To work closely with the reception team.

To maintain effective working relationships with clients. Identify their needs and ensure their repeat business.
To work closely with front of house team
To develop a close working relationship with all departments and colleagues to ensure guest expectations are met.
To develop strong working relationships with all customers in order to maximise sales opportunities and generate business for the future.
Service and Product
To manage all Sales enquiries and communicate all requests to the relevant people and departments concerned.
To ensure effective daily communication of essential reservation details with Reception, Housekeeping and all departments.
To consistently update the hotels accommodation Data Base effectively
To undertake any reasonable requests made of you by the company including flexibility in hours and responsibilities.
Be willing to help other departments of the hotel to deliver the best possible service.
To comply with all policies and procedures as written in the staff handbook
To ensure that you are trained to up hold the conditions of the Health and Safety Policy.
Required Criteria
To be successful in your application you must have at least 12 months hotel experience in a similar position.
