Job Purpose:
We are looking for a resident contact and data officer to improve the data we hold on our residents, enabling tailored services and making decisions using data more comprehensively.
This role will be responsible for contacting residents to confirm existing data and update any new information on our housing management system NECH. This will require liaising with other teams to link into their processes where needed and be able to interrogate existing data held on multiple systems.
This role will need to ensure they have good communication and customer service skills, and are able to assess information and translate this so that it can be stored on the system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To collect data on our residents and translate this into the appropriate system.
2. To contact residents and ensure that up to date information is obtained.
3. To identify any welfare or safeguarding issues in conversation and use the correct referral processes where required.
4. To contact other teams and services where required to ensure resident queries are signposted appropriately.
5. To navigate various IT systems and filter out relevant information into the housing management system.
6. To maintain the confidentiality of our residents data and information.
7. Work with colleagues across Housing, Digital and other Council Services as necessary,
8. To use spreadsheets accurately enabling the importation of data.
9. To interpret the findings enabling a summary to be presented at senior management meetings, board meetings, and any other forum as and when required.
10. Provide support to the Housing Transformation Team and Housing Management service to deliver against broader team objectives.
11. Promote and represent Haringey Council at all levels throughout the organisation and to external bodies.
Qualifications
:
Experience of naviqatinq diqital filinq systems and software.
Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
Customer service experience.
Ability to interpret information and provide conclusions.
Able to competently use Microsoft Office Excel software, being able to input and filter data.
Experience of working constructively with a range of internal stakeholders and external providers.
Ability to use professional curiosity.
Experience in usinq Microsoft Office software.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Experience of instillinq customer focus.
Able to think clearly and provide an overview while still qettinq the detail riqht.
Able to work to tiqht deadlines.

Experience of usinq and naviqatinq Sharepoint.
Experience in usinq Housinq Manaqement systems, preferably NECH.
Experience of workinq in/with a Housinq Manaqement function.
Experience of working with residents who are vulnerable.
Experience of data entry and customer service roles.
