Resident Experience Associate

Hours:

40 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days (working until 8pm, with some weekends)

About the Role

We're looking for a Resident Experience Associate to help deliver a standout experience for our student community at Space Student Accommodation.



You'll lead on planning and delivering resident events, support with in-person and virtual room viewings, manage reception duties, and help maintain a welcoming, well-presented environment across the building. You'll also contribute to our social media presence and support local marketing initiatives that strengthen our community feel.



This is a varied, people-focused role ideal for someone confident, organised and passionate about creating a great student living experience. Evening shifts (until 8pm) and occasional weekend work are required to support events and peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and run events that build community and enhance resident life Deliver engaging property tours and virtual viewings Provide a warm and professional reception service Help maintain communal areas and support day-to-day operations Create and post social content, and support local marketing activity Build positive relationships with residents, prospects and local partners

What We're Looking For

Customer service or hospitality experience Friendly, reliable and confident in social settings Strong communicator with a hands-on attitude Able to balance creative thinking with strong organisation Comfortable working evenings and weekends when needed

SPACE student accommodation in St Andrews is due to open in September 2024 comprising of both Studios and shared apartments exclusively designed with students in mind.



The concept behind SPACE is to develop student accommodation that does not only provide a contemporary and design-led home for students who attend the University of St Andrews but also provides an inclusive environment where every aspect of student life is catered for.



We believe that students need more than a room to call home and therefore we are developing a property that has shared communal spaces that will offer all students a place to go to socialise in the communal social hub, study within the library, and study pod, entertain friends within a private kitchen dining room or and keep fit and active in the gym or recreational hall.



The guiding principles of SPACE are to put our students front and centre of all decisions at every stage of the development from creating contemporary, sustainable apartments and studios to delivering vast social spaces that add value to the students who stay in SPACE.
