The Role
As a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO), you'll be the bridge between our site teams and residents, ensuring that communication is clear, respectful, and inclusive. You'll play a key role in supporting residents--especially those who are vulnerable or living with dementia--throughout the planned works programme.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents during planned maintenance and refurbishment works
Arrange and attend resident consultation meetings and pre-start visits
Provide clear, empathetic updates on project progress, schedules, and access requirements
Handle complaints and concerns with sensitivity and professionalism
Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and feedback
Support vulnerable residents, including those with dementia, ensuring their needs are understood and accommodated
Collaborate with site managers, operatives, and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery and minimal disruption
About You
Previous experience in a Resident Liaison, specfically in Kitchen, Bathroom and Painting projects within social housing or construction is essential.
Demonstrated empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable individuals.
Awareness of dementia-related challenges and experience supporting residents with cognitive impairments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
A proactive, solution-focused approach.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
