We're committed to making our homes safer and our communities stronger. As our Resident Liaison Officer - Fire Remediation, you'll play a key role in how we communicate complex fire safety updates and remediation work to the people who matter most our residents.


You'll be working with our Compliance and Fire Safety team, helping to keep everyone in the loop, from contractors and consultants to internal teams and most importantly our customers.

What you'll be doing



Communicating fire safety and remediation project updates to residents using digital, written, and verbal methods Logging communication activity and maintaining databases (including EWS1 forms) and CRM records Creating and distributing regular updates, letters, and newsletters Attending project meetings and working with contractors, consultants, and internal teams Providing admin support to the Fire Improvement Works team Assisting with evidence gathering, documentation, and invoice processing for legal fire remediation cases Supporting communication at resident forums, drop-in sessions, and access arrangements for works Collaborating with the Communications team to ensure complex information is clearly shared Keeping residents informed about project impacts related to sales and mortgages Staying informed on changes to legislation related to EWS1 and FRAEWs

What we're looking for:




We're not asking for the world just someone with a real commitment to customer care and some solid admin and communication skills. Here's what will help you thrive in the role:

Experience in a customer service environment ideally in housing, public service, charity or similar Strong written and verbal communication skills you can simplify the technical stuff Great with Microsoft Office especially Word Knowledge of housing management systems would be a bonus Well-organised, detail-focused, and good at juggling multiple tasks A collaborative, team-focused attitude with an ability to work independently too

This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions.


So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.


Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action , if any, have you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
