AZ Caring is seeking a committed and passionate Residential Care Worker to join our dedicated team. This role involves supporting a teenage child living at Thrive House, our 1-bed residential children's home in Kennington, near Ashford, Kent.

Key Responsibilities for Residential Care Worker

Build meaningful relationships with children, providing consistent emotional and practical support. Support the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each child's needs. Promote children's education, health, and well-being in line with their individual care plans. Contribute to a safe and nurturing home environment that fosters positive behaviour and development. Support children in daily routines, including meals, appointments, leisure, and education. Actively participate in team meetings, training, and reflective supervision. Complete accurate, timely recordings, reports, and logs as required. Follow safeguarding procedures, ensuring the protection and well-being of children at all times.

Essential Criteria for Residential Care Worker

Minimum of 1 years experience working with children in a residential or social care setting. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards) Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as part of a rota. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Full UK driving license
