Job Description
YOU MUST BE A DRIVER
Our client is an independent children home that supports children and young adults with complex needs including emotional distress and complex behaviour they will display due to past trauma.
They are looking for an experienced support worker who is able and capable to support their service users on a 1:1 basis.
This is not your standard support worker role and due to the nature of the needs of their clients you may well try to physically harm you or others however client confirmed the children they are having right now does not have those behaviours.
Experience of supporting challenging needs and ideally positive behavioural support is a bonus but they will provide full intensive training to ensure you have the skills to match your drive and passion.
This role is full time and with a competitive pay rate of \xc2\xa312-\xc2\xa313 per hour this is a great role for the right person who is devoted to ensuring that everyone is supported no matter the behaviours they exhibit.
Requirements:
Experience of supporting children and young people with complex needs
Knowledge of what is involved in working with such challenging behaviours
