At Swan Children's Homes, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive. Our homes provide a stable, nurturing space for children who have faced significant challenges--and we're looking for compassionate, resilient, and enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team.
About Us:
Swan Children's Homes is more than just a workplace--it's a place where lives are transformed. We offer residential care to children aged 5 - 12 who may have experienced trauma, neglect, or family breakdown. Our approach is trauma-informed, child-centred, and relationship-based. We pride ourselves on being a team that truly cares--about our children, our colleagues, and our mission.

Naturally nurturing, patient, and emotionally intelligent
Calm under pressure and able to set clear, consistent boundaries
Team players with a big heart
Comfortable with the unpredictable--but rewarding--nature of children's residential care
Whether you're experienced in social care or looking for a fulfilling new direction, your life experience and attitude matter just as much as your qualifications.
Your Role Will Involve:
Building trusting, meaningful relationships with young people
Supporting children through their night time routines - and being there to support them if they need throughout the night
Managing difficult behaviours with empathy and consistency
Advocating for children's needs and encouraging their strengths
Being part of rota including weekends, and bank holidays
We Offer:
Full training and ongoing professional development
Clear progression routes and opportunities to grow within the company
A supportive team culture where your wellbeing matters
Enhanced pay for qualifications and leadership responsibilities
The chance to make a real and lasting impact on young lives
