Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to children, ensuring their wellbeing and development. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality support and care to children, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. Assist with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and educational support. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Communicate effectively with children, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made by the children. Drive to various locations as required for home visits or activities. Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

Requirements

Previous experience in childcare or working with children is essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children and families. Ability to follow care plans meticulously while adapting to the needs of each child. A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation purposes. Proficiency in IT systems is advantageous for managing documentation efficiently. A compassionate approach with a genuine interest in supporting children's development is crucial.
