As a support worker, you'll play a crucial role in encouraging confidence, providing 24/7 support, and focusing on prevention strategies. Regular care plans, weekly reports, and key work sessions are essential tools used to encourage engagement and self-development.
This role is based in a semi-independent residential unit, involving support for young people within placements and assisting them in attending local appointments. Working hours vary based on the needs of young people and the staff team, and we are seeking dedicated support workers who can conduct key work sessions.
Candidates must undergo a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check, hold a Level 3 qualification in working with young people or equivalent.

Key Tasks as a Support Worker

Essential Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Two satisfactory references
- Ideally, at least 1 year of experience as a Support Worker/Care Assistant

Required education:
