Residential Support Workers

Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you'll play a key part in the daily lives of the children in our care. From emotional support to day-to-day routines, you'll be a consistent, caring presence -- a trusted adult who helps children feel safe, valued, and empowered.
You'll work closely with a team of professionals including team leaders, deputy managers, and therapists to provide holistic care tailored to each child's unique needs. Every day is different -- and every day, your work matters.
What You'll Do:
Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and young people
Support with routines, schoolwork, life skills, and emotional wellbeing
Be a consistent presence in the lives of children who've faced trauma or adversity
Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development
Help implement care plans, attend meetings, and liaise with professionals
Provide key work sessions, track progress, and keep clear records
Support children in accessing the community, education, and hobbies
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment
Who You Are:
You have experience in a residential childcare setting (preferred)
You're passionate about making a difference
You're calm under pressure, reliable, and emotionally intelligent
You're resilient, compassionate, and able to set clear, healthy boundaries
You have or are working towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
You're a team player who values communication, consistency, and growth
A full UK driving licence is desirable
