Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and the ability to provide high-quality support children. This role involves working closely with clients to implement care plans, ensuring their needs are met while promoting independence and well-being.

Duties

Assist children with daily living activities, including and household tasks. Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the specific needs of each child. Provide childcare support, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive children to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport. Maintain accurate records of the childs progress and report any changes. Utilise IT skills to manage documentation and communicate with team members efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and families. Ability to drive is preferred; a valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients. Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is necessary. A caring attitude and commitment to promoting the well-being of clients are crucial. IT proficiency is beneficial for managing documentation and communication tasks.
